A Message from Tricia

Another year has passed and I want to thank everyone who has continued to support The Martin Lawrence Memorial Trust. Our Annual Review 2017 is now available. We are continuing to support the 4 projects we really believe 'Give young people in Africa & the UK a better chance in life through learning, education and sport' in 2017.

The Send a Cow groups we support in Ethiopia enter their third and final year and I will be visiting them in November to see for myself how their lives have been transformed - click here for recent reports and to learn how Send a Cow has won a prestigious award from BOND - the membership body for international development organisations. Belvoir Cricket & Countryside Trust's School Days enable city & small rural primary schoolchildren to enjoy a day of cricket & countryside activities; SKRUM's outreach to the youth of Swaziland has grown enormously and Rutland Osprey Project continues to work with schoolchildren not only in UK, but on the migration route and in Africa.

I do hope to see some of you on July 22 on our Evening Osprey Cruise on Rutland Water and/or our Autumn Celebration get-together on October 4 at Winchester House (Private Members Club) on the banks of the Thames near Putney Bridge - www.winchesterhouseevents.co.uk. Stephen & I will also be at Lord's Cricket Ground on July 6 - with a picnic on Coronation Garden lawn as usual!

With very best wishes for 2017
