Memorial to Martin dedicated at new Osprey Hide
On Friday April 10 local friends and family gathered at the new Osprey Hide - Martin's Hide - on Manton Bay to dedicate a beautiful carved wooden plaque in memory of Martin and to hand over a 'jumbo' cheque for £5000 to Tim Mackrill of the Rutland Osprey Project. The ospreys returned to their nest on Easter Monday and have now laid two eggs, so the new Hide will be buzzing with activity all summer and visitors will enjoy the new TV screen showing live pictures (supplied by MLMT) click here for pictures...
