Early Spring Newsletter
A big THANK YOU to everyone who has supported MLMT during the past year. Our End-of-Year Accounts showed an amazing £102,000 income, which enabled us to enrich the lives of so many youngsters in the UK and Africa through our support of Send a Cow's work in Ethiopia, the Rutland Osprey Project and the Fred Trueman State School Cricket League.
In 2016 we will be sponsoring Belvoir Cricket & Countryside Trust's Schools Days offering inner city & rural schools the opportunity to come to the Belvoir Estate to take part in outdoor learning, gaining skills and knowledge in cricket and countryside activities. Find out more at www.bcctrust.org.uk
We also hope to be supporting SKRUM - giving school children in Swaziland much needed HIV/Aids and gender awareness education through the great game of RUGBY - more details soon.
- Sept 14 The Second 'Red Trouser' Golf Day will take place at The Luffenham Heath Golf Club in Rutland - Martin's home club for his last 20 years. Click here to enter. We do hope this will be as well-supported, enjoyable and successful as last year's Golf Day at Kingswood GC. Proceeds will be split between MLMT and The Motor Neurone Disease Association.
- July 9 Summer Party in Manton. Drinks in a beautiful garden overlooking Rutland Water, followed by supper in the Village Hall. More details and booking form soon.
