WOW - What a month for MLMT !
On June 14, 60 people braved a cool evening for our GARDEN SAFARI SUPPER in Manton, but enjoyed Prosecco & Canapes in one beautiful garden, then a delicious Hog Roast & Salads in another before moving on to Tricia's garden for Puddings, Coffee and entertainment in the Funky Tent. Thanks go to Richard & Barbara Camp & Kevin & Sheer Amerigo for welcoming us to their gardens and everyone who came. We raised £3395 on the night + 2 generous £1000 donations.

WELL DONE, JESSAMY - Martin's grand-daughter - who cycled from Land's End to John O'Groats (via Wales & Ireland!) in late June with her dad, Piers and his group of MAMILS (Middle-Aged Mean in Lycra) - 100 miles a day for 11 days! She has raised £1000 for Meningitis Research and nearly £2000 for MLMT.

Our 1st RED TROUSER GOLF DAY on July 9 was a great success, both socially and as a fund-raiser. 80 golfers gathered at Kingswood Golf & Country Club on a beautiful summer's day. The winning team of George Nolan, John Lee, Roddy Grant & Dougie McClelland won the Martin Lawrence Memorial Trophy + Odyssey putters, and Ian Blackburn, David Keen & Dougie McClelland all holed a long putt left-handed to share 'Martin's Jacket' and some pink bubbly . Bob 'the Cat' Bevan kept everyone entertained, both introducing 'True & False' questions, some relating to Martin & Tricia, and then with his Comedy Auction which raised an incredible £19,900. Huge thanks to everyone who supported the day in any way, but especially Sir David Reid & Dougie McClelland for hosting the day, and those who donated and bid for the amazing Auction Prizes. A total of over £25,000 was raised from the day and this will go towards our MLMT project in Ethiopia - click here for project update. Click here for photos of the day.
