There is now a permanent memorial to Martin in the new Osprey Hide overlooking Rutland Water. We have provided a new camera & TV screen for the new ‘children-friendly’ hide, enabling children all round the world to follow the progress of the birds, and other learning resources. The Osprey Flyways Project links schools along the Osprey migration route and provides free online wildlife education resources and works directly in schools in The Gambia.
In 2016 we funded the publication of 3 books for children 'Be an Osprey Expert' ,'Ozzy's Return' and 'Ozzie Leads the Way' and binoculars for use by schoolchildren when they visit Waderscrape Hide and in 2017 we will fund a re-print of the popular 'Be an Osprey Expert' and more binoculars for the increasing number of schools who visit Rutland Water.
